Joe Crisco was first elected to the Connecticut State Senate in November of 1992.

Prior to serving in the State Senate he worked for United Technologies, serving in government liaison assignments. He was later named Director of Government Affairs.

Crisco has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from UConn. He lives in Woodbridge with his wife. They have six children and sixteen grandchildren.
