School security yes, but teachers armed with guns (including assault-style weapons as some other state officials and the NRA leadership have advocated) are not the answer! What does the NRA leadership and some other state governors want, a wild-west, Hollywood movie shootout scenario in front of kids? Is this what this once great country is deteriorating into?

heres a little eye opener for you all, find a person who has kids in school and is for gun control or gun bans, ask them what would keep their child safer while in school, punishing all the law abiding citizens lawfully owning guns and obeying the already dizzying amount of gun laws, even the silly ones that make no sense, going about their dailey lives as usual, not hurting anyone or causing trouble by taking their freedoms and rights away just to have a fals illusion of a world where everything is rainbows and unicors with butterflies coming out of their butts? or making some real world changes to our schools security and security policies like, no adults who arent school employees allowed in the schools or on the grounds at any time while students are in the building or, bullet proof glass and doors onall school buildings and electrically locked doors on all classrooms and exit / entry doors, small windows so no one can climb through and emergency exits that are only accessible from the inside? 10 to 1 they say, "take the guns, I dont want my kid going to school in a prison!" proving once again that they either do not care one bit for the safety of the kids or that they actually are really stupid and shouldnt have been allowed to spawn!

THAT IS ANOTHER GOOD ONE! VEHICLE BARRIERS, AND ELECTRONIC CLOSED CIRCUIT TV. THAT WILL REALLY STOP A PERSON ON FOOT WHO HAS THE INTENT OF KILLING SOMEONE! CARE TO TRY AGAIN? WE NEED MORE STUPID IDEAS AS MORE GUN FREE ZONE SIGNS!

I SUGGEST NEW SIGNS, " GUN FREE ZONE", CITING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION!

(2) an examination of a requirement that all persons entering a school building verify their identity and explain their purpose for being at the school" See? this right here is whats going to get more kids killed.. Example: Hi, Im here to bring my childs lunch, he forgot it. "Ok, can i see some id?" sure... here you go. "thank you Mr jones.." No, thank you, POW, POW POW!!! Now, its on... this wouldnt happen if Mr Jones werent allowed anywhere near the building, if it were truly a case of little Billy forgetting his lunch, the real mr jones would be told via intercom, "Thats ok, we will provide little Billy with a hot lunch today, Have a good day Mr Jones," Mr Jones would have to drive away and think about what he just tried to do!
