HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — U.S. House Speaker John Boehner is expected in Hartford for a fundraising event to boost Republican state Sen. Andrew Roraback's bid for a seat in Congress
Boehner is appearing at the Hartford Club for a luncheon Tuesday with a maximum contribution of $2,500 per person.
Roraback is up against Democrat Elizabeth Esty, a former state legislator, in the race for the open seat representing the 5th Congressional District in northwestern Connecticut. The seat is currently held by Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy, who decided to leave the position as he runs for U.S. Senate.
Roraback and Esty each reported raising slightly more than $550,000 from July 25 to Sept. 30.

Its well know that Boehner has long had a drinking problem and is very often totally hammered when he is at Congress,,unfortunately the people of his district simply dont care enough toss him out, but he will soon not be well enough to continue as his liver begins to fail. He is typical of republican leaders,,deny there is a problem, and leave it for someone else to clean up

Typical name calling lefties on this site using multiple screen names and can only lie and call people names rather than speak facts. These posters are representative of the Democrat disaster we have in power.

I'm sorry to say that when I live in Ohio I voted for this fraud once. Boehner is nothing but an alcoholic who is incompetent and couldn't hold a real job. He was fired from 2 previous jobs before he got into politics
