WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- For the fourth time, the state is reaching out to distressed home owners in danger of foreclosure.
Monday the Governor, the Attorney General and the State Banking Commissioner announced another home mortgage assistance event will take place next week.
"It's a free event designed to provide Connecticut home owners at risk of foreclosure...an opportunity to meet one-on-one with their lender to get answers," said Commissioner Howard Pitkin, CT Dept. of Banking, "and hopefully work out some solution that will preserve their home ownership."
The event will be next Wednesday, November 28th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Conference Center at CoCo Key in Waterbury, and you can pre-register online.
