Conn. to mark anniv. of Roe vs. Wade

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Abortion rights activists are holding an event at Connecticut's Legislative Office Building to mark the 39th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe vs. Wade.

The Connecticut Coalition for Choice, which includes 10 organizations, has scheduled a news conference Monday to discuss how the ruling is facing unprecedented challenges. The group said it is committed to fighting efforts at the state and federal levels to potentially roll back access to abortion.

Abortion opponents are also planning events to mark the anniversary.

A March for Life, originally scheduled Saturday in Bridgeport, had to be rescheduled because of the weekend snowstorm to Saturday, Jan. 28. Peter Wolfgang, executive director of the Family Institute of Connecticut, will give the keynote address.

The march begins at 3787 Main St. in Bridgeport.

The public does not pay for abortions nor does the Government Healthcare Program. Please get your facts straight before making comments like this. Planned Parenthood provide women more than the right to choose. So your brash unfounded remarks are superfluous. They are based on emotional tirades of religious zealots. The same kind of people who crucified Jesus Christ.

Obamacare funds abortions for those who don't pay any taxes - they will deny it but it's in the monstoristy obamacare. Planned Parenthood the Democrat baby abortion factory is gearing up. The Democrats say its Ok to kill a baby - even after partial birth - but they turn their elitist nose up and claim its immoral to Waterboard terrorists for information. Vote the Democrats out!

Public money should NEVER be used for abortion!
